Internationalism
YPS, Patiala, is dedicated to offering students a global perspective and multicultural adaptability through well-designed educational tours and exchange programs. The school is member of International Organizations like Round Square Conference and American Field Service to name a few. Our students gain invaluable experiences and create lasting memories through trips to various countries.
We have established long-term Reciprocal Class Exchange programs with Lycee Clos Maire, Beaune, France and Linguistic School, Lovere, Italy. The school also facilitated short-term programs in Finland, Denmark, Hungary, the UK, Canada, Japan, and the USA. Additionally, we enrich our multicultural environment by hosting international staff and students from Germany, Italy, the UK, Japan and Chile for year-long programs.
Round Square Conferences
Yadavindra Public School (YPS), Patiala, actively engages in Round Square projects, including diverse service initiatives and both virtual and in-person conferences. These opportunities are crucial for fostering collaboration, innovation, and teamwork, shaping our students into true global citizens who appreciate and respect diverse cultures and communities.
As a dedicated member of the Round Square Schools Community, YPS consistently upholds the IDEALS, providing students with valuable experiences in volunteerism and experiential learning while actively participating in Round Square International Service Projects.
AFS (American Field Service)
For over a decade, our school has been associated with AFS Intercultural Programs India, a global non-profit organisation dedicated to fostering cultural exchange. Our students participate in study-and-volunteer abroad programs and immersive online projects, enriching their global perspective.
AFS Meets serve as dynamic platforms for cultural exchange, with members hosting international students and visiting their host families abroad. This extensive network spans numerous nations, promoting profound cross-cultural understanding.
