Internationalism
AFS or American Field Service aims to develop peace among countries through cooperation. The theme for this year’s meet was “Internationalism". Livgovind Singh and Sohila Singh of class XI- Humanities along with AFS coordinator, Ms Harsimranjit Kaur Dhindsa attended the Regional meet at YPS, Mohali.
The event was jam-packed with activities. The attendees were enlightened with various sessions on different topics from noted people in the field of education including the chief guest Dr Sumer Bahadur, National Director of AFS India Ms Divya Badgle, Mr Deepak Vayyanath, Mr. Vivek Atray, and Lt Gen T.S. Shergill.
The panel discussion included noted dignitaries and our very own Headmaster Mr. Navin Kumar Dixit.
The student delegates enjoyed the cultural evening and participated in seva at the Gurudwara, where they helped in the langar.
