It is a great honour for me to be appointed as the Director of Yadavindra Public School, Patiala ‐ the school in which I was a student six decades ago. I am grateful to the Board of Governors for the faith and trust reposed in me.

The school aims at all round development of students so as to equip them mentally, morally, physically and culturally to become worthy citizens of our great country. To achieve this goal, we lay emphasis on academic excellence, communication skills, sports and extracurricular activities. We provide our students with a happy environment in which they are encouraged to imbibe knowledge through an inquisitive and positive attitude. Positivity is, and will continue to be, the hallmark of Yadavindrians in every field of activity.

I believe that all great institutions are built on the bedrock of good discipline. We train our students to be leaders with integrity. For this good discipline, particularly self discipline is essential.

Over the years YPS has grown from strength to strength and ranks among the best Public Schools in the country. These heights have been attained through the consistent hard work and dedication of the faculty and students over the years. We are firmly resolved to continue to strive for excellence in every field of activity and to ensure that the flag of the school flies high in the fraternity of public schools in the country always.
